Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly event hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. It’s easy enough to play along, just follow the Teaser Tuesdays link for rules.

No, it’s your father. Sorry. Now we’re going into town for a spot of lunch. How exciting. Hope it rains. (p. 104)
I know I broke all kinds of rules this week. This book is so much fun, but it’s got to be the hardest book to grab a short teaser from.
Sounds funny..

Too funny!!! Great teaser. :) Mine is here: http://rundpinne.blogspot.com/2009/10/nine-dragons-teaser-tuesdays.html
It looks fun. I once read a book about two teenage girls that were best friends. One moved away so they kept in touch via e mail. The text of the book was written one email message to another with snippets of story in between. It was a very fun read. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.
That format sounds very similar to this one. Except that this one is just emails. Do you remember the title?
Ha! That gave me such a laugh. Very fun.
My teaser this Tuesday is from Her Fearful Symmetry.
How hysterical!!! here is mine
This is VERY cute! I had never heard of this book or website until today. I’m addicted :)
The website is soooo addictive. I found it months ago, and read all the emails in about two days. Be prepared for lots of wasted time :)
I have this checked out and it looks so funny. I really need to get to it. Great teaser.
I haven’t heard of this one – but from the teaser I think I would like it. I love books that have emails, texts, etc. in them. Great teaser and thanks for stopping by my blog.
How funny — I just finished reading this one yesterday (as you just saw, haha!). I absolutely loved it. So fun, light and different… but you’re right — very hard to “tease”!
classic, going to add this book to my list now

Sometimes you have to break a few rules! I did that with mine too.. Didn’t quite use just two sentences. Some need more for the full effect!
Too true. Oh – I forgot to mention in my comment on your teaser that I love your new layout!
I am actually very curious to hear what you think of this one, I haven’t heard great things about it, but I’m very impressed with the length!
hahaha, too funny! I’ve heard good things about this one. Glad you’re enjoying it!
Here’s my Teaser
That sounds hilarious! Totally my kind of read. I’m adding it to my pile!
:)
Great teaser! Sounds like a funny book.
hilarious! i remember reading about this a while back…didn’t know it was a book now! so clever. my buddy meg (write meg!) recently read and enjoyed it. with both of your endorsements, i might just have to add it to my library list.
Your teaser tells me this book is a lot of fun. I like the idea of just emails.
I’ve heard about this book. Sounds funny!
If the rest of the book is this strange and funny, it’s going to be a run read.
Malcolm
LOL that was a good teaser!
Omigosh, that cracked me up!!! Sounds like something my mom would do, except she would not have a clue how to send an email.
I love Granny!!! She’s a hoot and this is an awesome teaser!
This is the second teaser from this book that I have read and it sounds super funny. I’ll have to try and pick it up soon.
If you like the email/text/chat format the entire book Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern is written in that format and is a great book.
Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll add this to by to-read list.
Great teaser! I have wanted to read this book for a couple of months, it looks hilarious.
Thanks for stoppng by my blog this week! :)
