Soundtrack Saturdays an opportunity to share a song I think would fit on the soundtrack for the book I’m currently reading.

Feel free to join in! Either leave your soundtrack pick or the link to your soundtrack post in the comments.

From the author’s website:
Anna was looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. So she’s less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris—until she meets Étienne St. Clair. Smart, charming, beautiful, Étienne has it all . . . including a serious girlfriend.

Soundtrack Song: “Brighter At Night” by Ash Koley
I had such a hard time picking a song for this book, not because I couldn’t find one that fit but because I wanted to attach my entire lovey dovey playlist to it. In the end I decided on a song that isn’t even on that playlist. “Brighter At Night” came on while I was reading about Anna’s first night out in Paris and it seemed to fit so well with her description of lights and the river and all that. Plus, it’s the first time she seems truly happy since arriving at the boarding school. So, here’s “Brighter At Night”!

What song would you add to the soundtrack for this book or the one you’re currently reading?

i have been TRYING to read anna since friday but somehow managed to lose my kindle plug and the battery is dead. (nevermind going to the bookstore to actually purchase a hardcopy of the book!) i’ve read about anna on so many blogs and just have to get my paws on a copy. i’m currently listening to matched by alie condie and if i had to pair it with a song, i might use ‘somewhere only we know’ by keane.

Nat – I hope you’ve had better luck reading Anna! I thought it was a really sweet book. ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ is a great song. I listened to it for the first time in ages last week, thanks to my lovey dovey Valentines playlist :)

    Juju – Isn’t it great?
