Weekly Round Up (05.20.12)

May 20, 2012

These were my 5 most listened to tunes from the last week, according to last.fm:

1. Colours (Teen Daze Remix) by Young Liars (This song, and especially this remix, makes me want to go for a long drive at night.)
2. Daybreak by Saves The Day
3. Tomorrow Too Late by Saves The Day (This song will forever make me think of golden summer evenings.)
4. Shuffle by Bombay Bicycle Club
5. Welcome Home by Radical Face

Library Loot is hosted by Claire at The Captive Reader and Marg at Reading Adventures.

Just one library book this week:

Unbelievable by Sara Shepard (because I just can’t stop reading these Pretty Little Liars books)

“It’s Monday What Are You Reading” is a weekly event hosted by Sheila that lets you share books you’ve read over the past week and books you have coming up.

Finished:
Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver

Posted:
Snippet Thoughts: Anne of Green Gables, Perfect, and Princess in Love
NYC and BEA bound!

Currently Reading:
The Horse and his Boy by CS Lewis
The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour

Up Next: Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley. Just like I said last week.

What are you reading and listening to? Did any new books find their way into your possession?

Those PLL books are addictive. And I really enjoyed The Disenchantments and Graffiti Moon. I’ve been listening to audiobooks more than music lately but I want to check out some of your top tunes.
How exciting you’re going to BEA!

My favorite read last week was the audio of On the Beach by Nevil Shute. Please come see what else I’m reading. (I found my book, btw).

I love that you put your five most listened to songs! Graffiti Moon has been on my to-read list for a while. And the pretty little liars books… are they as good as the show?

When trying to motivate yourself to read Graffiti Moon, remember how much you enjoyed the previous book I forced on you.

Not that I’m saying Graffiti Moon is quite as good as Jellicoe Road, just that you will like it. A lot.
