Monday Round Up (11.08.10)

November 7, 2010

“It’s Monday What Are You Reading” is a weekly event hosted by Sheila that lets you share books you’ve read over the past week and books you have coming up.

I didn’t do a round up last Monday, so these are the books I’ve read in the last two weeks.

Finished:
We Have Always Lived In The Castle by Shirley Jackson
The Ask And The Answer by Patrick Ness
Marcelo In Th Real World by Francisco X. Stork

Posted:
In Which I Play Catch Up (mini-reviews)
Wrapping Up October 2010

Currently Reading: It Happened One Night by Lisa Dale

Up Next: Who knows. I don’t have anything in mind, so I’ll likely pick something random from my TBR shelf.

What are you reading? Did any new books find their way into your possession?

We Have Always Lived In the Castle sounds like a fabulous book, I’ve been seeing this around for the RIP Challenge, which I intend to join next year!

I’m curious about We Have Always Lived in the Castle…

I’d like to approach a week with all the options open…sounds good.

I’ve never read Shirley Jackson, but really want to read We Have Always Lived in the Castle. Todd and Viola are one of my favourite literary couples ever. Happy reading! :)

I need to do a catch-up post too. I recently listened to The Knife of Never Letting Go and was so caught up with the story and characters I did not see the ending coming (and was so upset that it ended the way it did). Now I must read the next book, so while glanced at your mini review, I didn’t read it all for fear of the spoilers.

Anyway, hope you have a terrific week.

I loved your In Which I Play Catch Up post. In fact, it’s an idea I have filed away for when my reviews get away from me! Check out my Monday here.
