Soundtrack Saturday – Heat Wave by Richard Castle

Soundtrack Saturdays is a little thing where I share a song with you that I think would fit on the soundtrack for the book I’m currently reading. If you’d like to join in, please either leave your soundtrack pick or the link to your soundtrack post in the comments.

Current Read: Heat Wave by Richard Castle

One Sentence Summary: In the middle of a NYC heat wave, homicide detective Nikki Heat is trying to solve some crime while shadowed celebrity journalist Jameson Rook.

Soundtrack Song: “Heat Wave” by The Who

Why I chose this song: Yes, being unabashedly literal here, but “Heat Wave” also goes so well with story – the heat of the summer, the chemistry between Heat and Rook. Plus, being a mystery novel that in no way takes itself seriously, it deserves a fun song to go with it.

What song would you add to the soundtrack for this book or the one you’re currently reading?
