Pride & Prejudice (1995 BBC Miniseries) – I picked it up on Friday night and have not only already finished it, but have already decided I need a copy of my own.

I really want to read Austenland now that I’ve read your review. As for what you should read next…Either Persuasion ~ Jane Austen or The Opposite of Love ~ Julie Buxbuam. The Opposite of Love is one of the very few books that has ever made me cry. Actually, it was more than just a cry. It was a completely shocking mix of laughter and tears all at once. Just jumped right out and knocked me down. Awesome book. Read it as soon as you can!

I loved The Thirteenth Tale, too. My suggestion for what next would be The Book Thief – haven’t got round to that one myself yet although everyone keeps telling me I should.

The Thirteenth Tale is a favorite of mine–so dark and gothic. I have read conflicting reviews of Austenland but was pleased to see you liked it. Book Thief is a must read!

I recommend The Book Thief. There were some other good ones on your shelf list, but The Book Thief immediately became my all-time favorite book after I read it.

Wellll, Anna Karenina (the Oprah version) is in my top 3 books of all time, so I would say read that one! BUt you do need to be in the mood for Tolstoy for sure!

The Adoration of Jenna Fox is very well written, it gives you a lot to think about. I think that Wish is a fun read.

The Thirteenth Tale is one of my absolute favorite books. I read it when it first came out, but still remember it. You’re really going to enjoy it!
I loved The Thirteenth Tale, I thought it was amazing. You have some great reads on your TBR. As for what next, it depends what you feel like. If you want to carry on the spooky gothicness I’d say the Forgotten Garden. If you fancy something a bit light hearted then I’d recommend The Secret Shoppers and if you want to be blown away then The Book Thief. They are really great books.

My Monday Mailbox is here
My friends and I watched the P&P mini-series so many times during college that we pretty much had the thing memorized. I like how faithful an adaptation it was to the content of the book. Some day I will buy it for myself as well.
I loved The Book Thief, but I had to put it down after a while because I got so attached to the characters and I couldn’t bear to have anything bad happen to them like I knew it would. I thought Zusak’s choice of narrator was very clever – he’s quickly becoming one of my new favorite authors.
