RaT update #2

October 24, 2009

This is what has gone on here since I last checked in:

* Finished 1984 (I only had about 10 pages left, so not a huge accomplishment, but it still feels good to say I finished a book!)

* Did some cheering

* Made lunch

* Started In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner

* Washed a bunch of dishes

* Spied on some people who appear to be moving in to our building (not read-a-thon related, but I thought you’d like to know everything I’ve been up to ;))

* Did lots more cheering. I’ve visited at least 170 blogs so far today, probably more than that.

What’s up next: reading! then more cheering!

Cheering is a lot of work, but it makes me feel good that I’ve been able to help encourage some of you to keep going. I don’t know how people who signed up as both Readers and Cheerleaders are doing it!

Random thought: Is anyone else having trouble spelling ‘Read-a-Thon’ correctly? Anyone else typing ‘Read-a-Thong’ by accident? No, just me? err… Sorry if I’ve left a ‘thong’ comment on your blog!

      I can’t figure out why I keep spelling it! It’s not like I write about thongs often…or ever…

      It’s good so far! It’s a little different than the movie, but of course I’m still picturing Cameron Diaz as Maggie, the mess-up sister.
