Reading Plan: January 2013
Another month, another reading plan.
To recap, this is plan format:
*Book club book
*Short stories
*Review (2 every other month)
*Re-read (every other month)
*TBR x whatever (unplanned)
December’s Reading Plan
Book club: I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith
Short stories: A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
Review 1: Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys
Review 2: Paris In Love by Eloisa James
TBR extras finished:
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
Powder and Patch by Georgette Heyer
Love Letters by Katie Fforde
Well… that didn’t go as planned. I picked up Between Shades of Gray on the first day of Christmas break, and put it down after reading less than a chapter. I just needed something a little more light hearted for the holidays. So, Heyer & Fforde it was!
January’s Reading Plan
Book club: Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein (previously read, so a freebie for me!)
Short stories: Sleight of Hand by Peter S. Beagle
Review: Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys (let’s try this again)
Re-read: A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Learn more about why I started making a reading plan here.

I’ve done that too, picked up a book and put it down because I was just not in the mood for heavy drama. Hope you get to read all your planned books in January.
I really like this format for a reading plan, I don’t think I’ve told you that before. I had a few books I tried to read over the holidays that were just a little too heavy for me, so I went with some YA instead :)
I should make a resolution to listen to Cinder. I can’t believe it’s still on my shelf.
