Spring 2012 Reviewathon – Day 1
Hey! It’s Reviewathon weekend. There’s still time to join in! (see below)
Let me tell you, I need this weekend. This is the stack of books that’s been steadily growing behind my computer like some kind of fungus…
..and it doesn’t even include the library books that have already been returned. So. Here’s the full list of titles I plan on tackling this weekend:
The Magician’s Nephew by C.S. Lewis
The Fault in our Stars by John Green
The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox by Maggie O’Farrell
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund
The House of Mirth by Edith Wharton
Perfect by Sara Shepard
Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
Princess in Love by Meg Cabot
What You Wish For: Stories & Poems for Darfur
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle
The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
Plus a DNF post:
Harbinger
The Spanish Bride
The Sari Shop Widow
Er…. that’s doable, right?
My plan is to devote all of Saturday and Sunday afternoon/evening to DEFEATING THIS LIST. I may squeeze in a bit of time this evening, but I’ll start in earnest tomorrow.
If you want to join me this weekend, here are the details!
1) Sign up below
2) Write up and schedule as many posts as you can from May 4 – 6. You don’t have to participate the entire time, just whenever you can squeeze in an hour or two for reviews.
3) Keep each other updated in blog comments or on Twitter using hashtag #reviewathon
4) Check back here on Tuesday, May 8 for the wrap up post and let me know how you did!

You go girl! Admirable.
Best of luck to you! I would absolutely join if it wasn’t that I’m having teeth taken out Saturday morning, so I don’t think I’ll be in great shape to join. Maybe Sunday? Anyway, I think this is a great idea! :)
