Soundtrack Saturday – Wedding Season by Katie Fforde
Soundtrack Saturdays an opportunity to share a song I think would fit on the soundtrack for the book I’m currently reading.
Feel free to join in! Either leave your soundtrack pick or the link to your soundtrack post in the comments.
From the author’s website:
Sarah is a wedding planner hiding a rather inconvenient truth – she doesn’t believe in love. Or not for herself, anyway. But as the confetti flutters away on the June breeze of yet another successful wedding she somehow finds herself agreeing to organise two more, on the same day and only two months away. And whilst her celebrity bride is all sweetness and light, her own sister soon starts driving her mad with her high expectations but very limited budget.
Soundtrack Song: “White Wedding” by Billy Idol
Sarah is more than a little cynical when it comes to love and happily ever after. I’m less than 100 pages into Wedding Season and “White Wedding” was the first song that came to mind when I thought of this post. It especially seems fitting considering that Sarah is now planning her sister’s second wedding, the first wedding (and marriage) being an unequivocal mess.
What song would you add to the soundtrack for this book or the one you’re currently reading?

I’m reading “The Graveyard Book” by Neil Gaiman right now. I think “My Body’s a Zombie For You” by Dead Man’s Bones goes perfect with the book. Dead Man’s Bones album is very creepy and perfect for Halloween and the book is about graveyards and dead people. Very fitting!

I love it! How have I never heard of this band?? Ryan Gosling! I need to listen to more of their stuff.
