Tour Countdown #3: Sara Bareilles

4 weeks ’till Lilith time!

A while back I made a little announcement about my summer plans. In anticipation of the rapidly approaching tour, I’m going to countdown some of the artists I’m looking forward to seeing. In no particular order. Now, there’s a fairly good chance I won’t actually have time to watch any of them, but hopefully I’ll be able to catch strains of their music as I run like mad through each venue :)

The tour starts one month from today! Which means it’s about time to take a look at another Lilith artist. I first heard heard of Sara Bareilles this past winter when a co-worker said I should check out the Hotel Cafe’s Winter Songs compilation. The title track is by Sara Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson, and it instantly became my favourite song off the album. I recently bought her album Little Voice and have been listening to it constantly since.
