Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly event hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading. It’s easy enough to play along, just follow the Teaser Tuesdays link for rules.
Once again I find myself between books coming into Tuesday, so here’s the beginning of my next book:
Once upon a time, there was a country bumpkin who dreamed of moving to London.
(That’s me, in case you hadn’t guessed.)
From the attic bedroom she shared with her very ugly sister in their parents’ hay barn (21 Haybarn Close, Rowminster, Somerset) the young bumpkin imagined the city in every detail.
From The Secret Shoppers’ Revenge by Kate Harrison
What are you teasing us with today?

When you couple your teaser with the title of this book, am not sure what century I’ll be reading about! Intriguing. Sounds like the book might be a bit tongue- in- cheek. Hope you enjoy it. We don’t want to be between books too often. :-)
I’m late checking out TT this week. If you’re still reading them, my teaser is for A Women in Berlin at Summit Musings .
